Five Chinese players — Wang Zhizhi, Yao Ming, Yi Jianlian, Sun Yue, and Zhou Qi — have made it to the NBA through the draft. Yang Hansen is aiming to become the sixth Chinese player to enter the NBA via the draft, and the 7th Chinese player to play in the NBA overall (including Cui Yongxi)
