Felipe Martins was appointed as the new manager of Wuhan Three Towns earlier this year. However, in the new season, he led the team to a disappointing record of 1 draw and 4 losses in 5 matches, leaving them at the bottom of the CSL standings. The Portuguese coach therefore became the axed head coach in the 2025 CSL season.
